Our faithful partners in prayer and financial support play a major part in all we do, but we’ve had a team of key helpers alongside of us in each season of our ministry as well. As promised in our Fall Newsletter, we are beginning to share about each of our current team members—Sarah Van Dreese, Hannah Hinton, Ronda Swords, RG Conlee, and Wayne Li.
For our first introduction, we want you to meet Hannah Hinton. We’ve known Hannah since she started volunteering at the RBTC Admissions office when she was a first-year student at RHEMA USA. A 2005 graduate, she then became my personal secretary in the Admissions Office and did an amazing job. Her background as a volunteer firefighter for many years gave her some unique skills to help at times, too!
Although she has always been a personal encouragement and help to us since we first transitioned to China in 2007, she officially began assisting our ministry in various ways in our Stateside office in 2012 and has been a hands-on blessing during a number of our graduations in China as well. “That’s one of my favorite things to help the ministry with,” she shared, “because of getting to personally see some of the lives that have been touched by the ministry. I also love helping to make the donation deposits because that gives me the opportunity to pray over those supporting the ministry.”
Hannah’s connections with our lives and ministry has long been a family affair as well. She and her Mom, Icie Hinton, “adopted” our dog Bogey when we went overseas. Icie has often helped with preparing various ministry mailings, too, along with being a most precious supply to us in prayer. Now, Hannah’s sister Sarah Junious has begun helping our ministry by doing transcript work for us in connection with our RHEMA Chinese Online program…all the way from her home in Texas.
We are grateful for Hannah AND her family for being such a significant blessing to us in so many ways for so many years.
