The Value of Serving in the Local Church – Part 2

In First Peter 4:10, we read – “As every man hath received the gift, even so, minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”

So Peter is writing to the Church, or we could say to every believer. Notice Peter states that every believer has received a gift from God. This gift is supernatural, and its primary purpose is to make you a blessing to people.

Notice Peter indicates that this gift is not given for our benefit. Instead, it is something that adds value to the local church. Something that contributes to the well-being of people. Every believer is called to be a part of a local church and use their abilities to add value to that church to benefit people’s well-being.
