Focus on the Future in Texas

Connie and I had the privilege of ministering at Faith Impact Church in Georgetown Texas this past weekend. The church is pastored by Charles and Marsha Moran. Connie spoke at a lady’s luncheon, focusing on God’s love and the importance of maintaining an eternal perspective. Gary spoke on Sunday morning with an emphasis on stretching our faith to experience whatever God has for us in 2019.

Charles and Marsha hold a special place in our hearts. They were one of the first guest speakers in the church Gary pioneered in Iowa 39 years ago. During one particular Sunday, while Gary was attending a wedding in Minnesota, Charles and Marsha prayed that Gary, who was single at that time, would discover his life partner. Obviously, Charles and Marsha’s prayer worked. Gary met Connie Silver at her sister’s wedding 38 years ago, and the rest is history!

Charles and Marsha Moran have been in Georgetown, Texas for the past nine years, pioneering Faith Impact Church. Two weeks ago, they moved into their very own new church building! Gary and Connie were the first guest ministers to share in their new building. We rejoice with Pastor’s Charles and Marsha and the congregation of Faith Impact Church for God’s faithfulness and blessings!
