Three elements are necessary for any harvest. They are seed, water, and harvesters. We know from reading the Bible that the unperishable seed is the Word of God. The water is the work or ministry of the Holy Spirit that activates that seed in people’s lives.
Our purpose as a ministry is to sow the seed in those places God has directed us to go. Over the past 16 years, we have planted the seed of God’s Word in many nations. One of those nations is the nation of China.
China is the largest nation in the world, with a population of 1.4 billion people, roughly 20% of the world’s population. Or we could say it this way; approximately 20% of the harvest God is waiting to reap.
To better understand how big China’s population is, think of this.
- The population of China is equivalent to the population of North America, South America, Australia, New Zealand, and all of Western Europe — combined.
- The population of China is equivalent to the combined population of the former Soviet Union, plus Pakistan, Afghanistan, Finland, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, and Hungary. Oh, and all of Southeast Asia, Japan, and both Koreas, too.
- The population of China is equivalent to the population of Africa, the Balkans, and the Middle East put together. (A Surprising Map of the World Shows Just How Big China’s Population Is; Matt Schiavenza; The Atlantic)
Our part in sowing seed in this great nation is through electronic media. Your prayers and support have helped us translate and make available over 23 faith-building books through free downloads at flpchinese.com. We have also recently added video teaching by Kenneth E. Hagin.
Seed is being planted in one of the world’s most powerful nations. We believe the Holy Spirit is watering that seed through our prayers and through those who take these materials and use them to impact their cities and communities.
Thank you for your prayers and support in making this happen. Let’s continue to work together in reaping the harvest that God is waiting for.
