In Memory of Icie Hinton

On February 7^th, Icie Hinton transitioned from this life to her new home in heaven. Icie was the mother of 13 children, including Hannah, who has been a personal blessing to our lives and worked and volunteered for GCIM over the past 12 years.

Icie was affectionately known as our second mother. She treated us as her own children and supported and prayed for our ministry for many years. We have never met another person who was so kind and full of God’s love. We will be traveling to be part of her memorial service in Indiana later this week.

One of our fondest memories of Icie was the time that she visited us in Hong Kong. Icie, Hannah and her granddaughter Monica made the long trip to Hong Kong together. Icie, who was approaching 80 years old, was an inspiration to us all. She was so full of energy and so eager to see and experience everything she could. Icie’s trip to Hong Kong is one memory with her that we will forever cherish.
