RG Conlee has known Connie and I longer than anyone else on the team. Recently, he reminisced: “I met Gary in 1982…before he and Connie were even married. He was doing sound at the Full Gospel Business Men’s meeting in Iowa after he had returned from RHEMA (as a new graduate).” RG and his wife, Wendy, later attended and served faithfully at the church I founded in Mt. Pleasant, IA, and they have been life-long friends ever since.
It was in 2013, that RG’s expertise in all-things-technological became a huge blessing to us. He has been at the forefront of the planning and technological development of our RHEMA Chinese Online program.
RG recently retired from Xerox corporation as their Senior Vice-President, Chief Innovation Officer. Now he is an Associate Pastor at Family Worship Center in Lexington, KY, along with having launched two of his own businesses that are steadily expanding. He is also on the board for Global Smile Foundation and has built an online medical records system for them.
Amongst all these endeavors, though, RG is grateful to be a part of the GCIM team. “I love that what we are doing is reaching souls for Jesus, and Gary and Connie have demonstrated such a heart for missions. I know this is good ground to sow both my time and finances into.”
As our RHEMA Chinese Online website officially launches, we are thankful, in a fresh way, for RG’s dedication and hard work that have helped to make it a reality.
