Prayer and the Harvest

We are living in one of the most remarkable and exciting times in the history of the world. More people are living on the earth today than have lived and died from the time of Jesus Christ until now. Over seven billion people are living on this planet and one-third of the world’s population is centered in two countries of the world, China and India. China has a population of approximately 1.4 billion and India has a population of approximately 1.3 billion.

If you draw a circle on a map of the world around China, India, Southeast Asia, more people are living inside that circle than outside that circle. What a tremendous opportunity to preach the gospel and to reap a harvest of souls for the kingdom of God in that part of the world.

James 5:7 reveals to us that God is waiting for a great harvest of souls to be reaped before He returns. We have an amazing opportunity to be a part of this great harvest. In this audio teaching, Rev. Crowl reminds us of the importance of prayer in connection with reaping God’s harvest.
